Contraindications and precautions:

Although Trigonella foenum-graecum is generally well tolerated, supplementation may cause mild gastrointestinal side effects in sensitive individuals.

Meno ThriveTM may affect some medications. It may increase the effects of anticoagulant, anti-platelet, diabetes (hypoglycaemic), metropolol and SSRI medication. It may reduce the effects of phenytoin, theophylline, and sildenafil.

Due to a possible hypoglycaemic effect of Trigonella foenum-graecum, close monitoring of glycaemic control by a healthcare professional should be considered in patients treated for diabetes mellitus.

Although there are no known human clinical studies indicating an adverse hormonal effect of Trigonella foenumgraecum supplementation, caution (or avoidance) is advised for patients with hormone sensitive conditions.
