Adults and children over 12 years: Take 1-2 capsules daily, with food, or as directed by your health professional.

WARNING:

Vitamin supplements should not replace a balanced diet.

DRUG INTERACTIONS:

Caution with blood thinning medications, including warfarin, as vitamin E may interfere with the activity of vitamin K in producing blood clotting factors and lead to increased clinical effects of oral anticoagulants. Monitor INR within one to two weeks of vitamin E initiation.

Caution with cyclosporin (immunosuppressant) - vitamin E may increase or decrease serum drug levels. Monitor drug levels.

CAUTIONS:

Discontinue use 1 week before surgery to decrease risk of haemorrhage.

Caution in individuals with bleeding disorders (e.g. haemophilia, bleeding peptic ulcers or history of haemorrhagic stroke). Use only with medical supervision due to increased risk of haemorrhage.
