Adults and children over 12 years -

Drug Interactions:Caution with anti-coagulant and anti-platelet drugs such as aspirin and warfarin - Sea buckthorn may have an additive effect which can increase the risk of bleeding. Caution with antihypertensive medication - Sea buckthorn may have an additive effect. Monitor blood pressure.

Cautions: Sea buckthorn may increase the risk of bleeding during and after surgery as it slows down blood clothing. It is recommended to discontinue its use 2 weeks before any scheduled surgery. The safety of Sea buckthorn oil during pregnancy and lactation has not been established.

Side Effects: Very few side effects from Sea buckthorn have been reported. In rare cases, some individuals may experience gastrointestinal symptoms.
