Childrens Immune Care contains Echinacea, traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to relieve symptoms of common colds and flu and relieve mild fever.
Echinacea is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to decrease mild upper respiratory tract congestion.
Childrens Immune Care contains zinc, vitamin C and citrus bioflavonoids, antioxidants that reduce free radicals formed in the body.
Childrens Immune Care is sweetened with tooth-friendly Xylitol and is free from artificial flavourings, sweeteners, preservatives and colourings.
Children 2-4 years: Chew 1 tablet daily.
Children 5-12 years: Chew 2 tablets daily.

WARNINGS:

DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Caution with immunosuppressive drugs - Children's Immune Care may have an antagonistic effect (theoretical).
Caution with amphetamines (some ADHD medications) - vitamin C may reduce drug absorption. Separate dose by 2 hours.
Caution with anticoagulant and antiplatelet drugs - vitamin C may increase the blood thinning effects. Separate dose by 4 hours.
Caution with calcium supplements - concurrent use with zinc can reduce the absorption of both. Separate dose by 2 hours.
Caution with eltrombopag - concurrent use with zinc can reduce drug absorption. Separate dose by at least 4 hours.
Caution with tetracycline and quinolone antibiotics and cefalexin and penicillamine - zinc interferes with drug absorption. Take drug 2 hours before or 6 hours after minerals.
CAUTIONS:
Echinacea may cause allergic reactions in individuals sensitive to plants from the Asteraceae (daisy) family.
Caution in iron overload conditions, such as thalassaemia major, haemochromatosis or sideroblastic anaemia, as vitamin C can increase iron absorption.
Stop taking a week before any surgery.
