Bromelain Forte contains 500mg of bromelain, a proteolytic enzyme derived from the fruit and stem of pineapple that assists the digestion of protein.

Bromelain supports healthy digestion and can be absorbed without degradation or losing its biological activity.

Bromelain is anti-inflammatory and assists in the healing of minor body tissue injuries.

Bromelain Forte reduces symptoms of soft tissue trauma including mild tissue oedema and pain.

Adults and children over 12 years -

For digestion: Take 1 capsule, twice daily, before meals.

For soft tissue trauma: Take 1 capsule daily, between meals. Or take as directed by your health professional.

Children under 12 years - Take only as directed by your health professional.

Does not contain egg, milk, peanut, soy, tree nuts, animal products, gluten, lactose or artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

DRUG INTERACTIONS:

Caution with anticoagulant medication - bromelain may increase tendency for bleeding. However, it is recommended pre and postsurgery.

CAUTIONS:

Contraindicated with hypersensitivity to bromelain. Caution with gastrointestinal lesion/ulcer.

SIDE EFFECTS:

Hypersensitivity/allergy has been known to occur. May occasionally cause gastrointestinal symptoms, including nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
